Teen Angel Babysitters offers on-line training and guidance, and practical courses, to teen baby sitters who babysit regularly to earn extra pocket money.

The training course makes babysitting safer, more fun and can result in an Accredited Certificate and a Credit towards CoPE (Certificate of Personal Effectiveness), which is offered through most schools.

Gaining Accreditation could be valuable to teenagers when seeking future employment. 

They learn how to manage a range of situations:

• a first meeting with the baby’s orchild’s parents
• how to discuss house rules and the child’s routine
• how to keep the child entertained
• how to keep the child happy
• plus much more. 

The 5-module course taken at two hours a week, costs £30, and includes practical tasks to undertake. 

 It is evaluated by a qualified assessor and, depending on satisfactory results, the student receives an Accredited Certificate through ASDAN.

Gaining a qualification gives the babysitter more confidence in handling all aspects of babysitting – while continuing to enjoy earning extra pocket money and putting the skills learned straight into practice!
