Enjoy a star-studded stay in Southend!
Southend’s ever-developing draw as a top destination for visitors, has just won another official boost.
The Roslin Beach Hotel on Thorpe Esplanade, Southend, has been awarded an impressive four stars from the AA along with a rosette for its restaurant.
This is on top of last year’s four stars for the Hotel from VisitBritain – the national tourism body - which at the same time highlighted an additional 13 Southend accommodation venues with star- ratings or VisitBritain status.
Southend-on –Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: “This great accolade for the Roslin Beach Hotel is something for us all to be proud of in the area and reflects their major recent investment.
“The improving quality of the offer for visitors in Southend is becoming more evident every season with new seafront attractions and accommodation. Our work on enhancing the seafront last year has made a major difference and the new cultural centre on the pier to open in July will focus yet more attention on the appeal of Southend.”
I am the very proud owner of thebestofsouthend. My aim is to really shout about why Southend is so great & champion our local business owners who do a really great job!
