Step out with Running Sisters
Join a fitness opportunity for females which is a runaway success!
This is Running Sisters – a structured and friendly group designed to encourage girls and women aged 16 and over, to take up running.
The sessions take place in Chalkwell Park from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings, starting on Wednesday 7th September, and will continue weekly, up till and including Wednesday 12th October.
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council’s Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: “Running Sisters is a great way to introduce women to running as a regular way to keep fit in a supportive environment.
“Each week, participants gain confidence and develop their fitness – as well as meeting new friends too.”
