The next few weeks are a great time to be in Southport for anyone interested in Arts & Crafts.
Birkdale Business Village Partnership will be hosting an Arts & Crafts Fair in the village on Saturday 17th April.
Following on after this, from the 17th April till 3rd May, Southport Contemporaty Arts will host Birkdale Arts Trail.
The Trail, will be an exciting mix of Artists Open Studios and House exhibitions, workshops run by the networks artists and community events.
The group would like to encourage everyone, of every age, to explore the trail and take part in the event, that they hope will be the first of many.

Southport - Tourist Information Office, and Aphrohead books & coffee, Hoghton Street
Birkdale - Birkdale Library, Birkdale Furniture and Bed Centre- Upper Aughton Road & Birkdale Cheese Centre-Birkdale Village.
Then on May 8th, from 10am to 4pm an exhibition and sale of watercolours by the late Jack Blackwell will be held in the Masonic Hall, Duke Street. Jack was one of the country's leading watercolour artists and all proceeds from the sale will go to charity
