Southport has a great deal to offer at Christmas, both in the centre and in the various areas around the town, starting of course with the lights 'switch on' on November 15th. A 'must' for children of all ages.
A little further outside, Birkdale Village has its own lights ceremony as part of the Christmas Festival.
The Christmas Continental Market is a must for anyone looking for a bit of extra atmosphere and something a little special. Of course, southport is always popular for Christmas shopping, and with the many specialist shops in Birkdale, Churchtown and our two Victorian arcades, there is always something out of the ordinary to be found here.
