Southport Homewatch Association was set up in 1991. This volunteer-run, not for profit Association extends over the whole of Southport. The Association supports individual neighbourhood schemes, each of which has their own, Police-vetted scheme leader. We work with the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation and encourage local schemes to use their resources.
The aim of the Association is to improve personal and property safety by encouraging the establishment of local, neighbourhood groups, building a greater sense of community and providing access to relevant guidance and information.
