More than six thousand supporters have signed Ministry of Sound's petition against Oakmayne's proposed 41-storey tower for the Eileen House site on Newington Causeway.
The Gaunt Street club, set up eighteen years back in a disused bus garage by James Palumbo, is worried an inflow of lots of new home neighbours, who could potentially have an aversion to late-night noise.
Now Ministry is encouraging its avocates to sign a 'Save our club' petition and in mere matter of days more than six thousand signatures have been submitted.
So as a local, do you have you any thoughts on this Elephant & Castle project?
