Justin will introduce you to the key characters and story of his new book series - Pirate Academy. Set in 2507, the oceans have risen and a new golden age of piracy is dawning. Students in Barracuda Class at the elite Pirate Academy attend lessons ranging Knots Class and Sailing to Combat Workshop. The teachers are, of course, all legendary pirate captains. Pirate Academy has been described by author and former Children’s Laureate Cressida Cowell as “a gloriously action-packed adventure, full of characters you really care about.”
In this interactive event, Justin will get you thinking about your own pirate ship and what lessons you’d like to add to the Barracudas’ timetable.
After Justin's session, the crew of the ship will give you pirate lessons in loading the cannon and raising the anchor. You are then free to explore The Golden Hinde and unleash your inner pirate!
Don't forget your pirate hats, cutlasses and parrots!
