In 2016, over 20,000 children signed up to the Summer Reading Challenge in libraries across Hertfordshire and Hertfordshire Libraries are hoping for a repeat performance this summer, as children to flock to libraries during July and August to take part in Animal Agents, the 2017 Summer Reading Challenge.
To support the children along the way, every summer Hertfordshire Libraries recruit an army of volunteers aged 14+. It’s a great opportunity to make a positive contribution to your local community and help children to keep reading through the holidays.
