Discover how £10k’s worth of community support in St Albans has helped 2 prize winners do just that!
The Get Out of the Rut initiative was thought up by Liz and Tommy Carey of Total Care Personal Training back in October, as a way of giving something back. More than £10,000 worth of life-changing gifts from businesses in and around St Albans have been awarded to two worthy prize winners Carla and Shelley, who for a variety of reasons, are well and ‘truly stuck in a rut’.
So what’s it all about? Well think DIY SOS ….but this is about helping people who are stuck and supporting them through a journey to getting their life back on an even keel.
This support programme and ‘gifts’ from the community is delivering a 12 week fitness and wellness package. Carla and Shelley are getting personal Training, support from a life/mind coach/NLP practitioner -Tracey Baum as well as gifts from beauty salons, restaurants and photographers among others!
The entire journey is being filmed to tell the really unique story about empowerment and making a difference. You can enjoy the film series on You Tube!
However none of this would be possible without the help of a variety of partners from the amazing St Albans business community. See the full list of partners.
We are determined to shout loud and proud about this initiative and would appreciate your support. Please like the Get Out Of The RUT Facebook page, and follow them on Twitter: @TheRut_2016
Help spread the word to put St Albans on the map! Think how many people we could support if this initiative takes off!
So get sharing!
