DESPERATE GREEKIES DOG RESCUE CHARITY - ST NEOTS
We are a small caring friendly dog rescue charity in St Neots that help dogs from a Greek shelter have a better life, and finding a lucky few loving homes in St Neots, Cambridgeshire and the UK.
How It Started....
My husband Dennis and myself had reluctantly agreed to go on holiday with two friends to Greece in 2005, we didn't enjoy this the first and last holiday there, we were so upset and saddened by the plight of most Greek animals that we decided to try to help as best we can........
We only go to Greece now, to help the animals at the shelter.
Our Aims
- To help some dogs have a family life in the UK..
- To raise funds for spaying/neutering for some of the strays of Greece.
- To make things more bearable for the dogs/cats at the very basic shelter on each visit.

Food is desperately needed at the shelter now!
Every penny raised is spent on the animals
In order to achieve this we need more like-minded people to join our team, we need help with fundraising, spreading the word here in the UK and we need volunteers to visit & help at the shelter we try to help in Greece. You don’t have to have a particular skill. Anything anybody can do, even just giving the dogs/cats some company would be fantastic.
