Matt and the gents recently replaced 3 sides of fences plus a new gate to our back garden. Despite it raining throughout they were on time, clean and tidy and did a great job. Recommend to all.

Matt and his team recently completed a project for us to turn our block paved driveway into a useable garden space. From our first meeting Matt fully understood what we envisaged, and made it happen. Laying turf, erecting raised beds, installing a gate and various brickwork remedials. Matt kept us up to date with where we were with the project throughout, was so friendly, kept everything neat whilst he worked and finished in a timely manner. I woudn't hesitate to recommend him and would 100% use again for any future landscaping works we require. Thanks Matt and the team 🙂

Matt has just recently completed updating our backgarden and front path. Him and his team have done a great job levelling out our garden and putting down artifical grass and rubber bark chippings. So we've now done the whole back garden using Matt as he came in a couple of years ago to do our patio and some other works. We've now a really spacious, contempory feeling garden that our little one loves playing in. Great job!

Matt completed an area of paving in our garden this summer giving us a lovely area to sit and enjoy the sun. He and his team worked efficiently and alway left the area clean and tidy. I would recommend his work!

Matt and his team laid an area of composite decking for me approximately a year ago (March 2019). The cost for the work and materials was around £5000. Overall, during installation, Matt and his team appeared to know what they were doing and worked hard and efficiently. The work was completed in an acceptable timescale and the end result appeared good. Unfortunately, in March 2020 I noticed that a number of the decking planks were starting to sag and gaps were appearing between those planks that were butted up together. I contacted Matt at the time and explained the situation. I also looked at a number of on-line videos and spoke to a tradesman who fits decking and this indicated that the wooden frame that supports the decking had not been constructed adequately. Matt initially engaged with me via text and gave me the impression that he would visit me to work out how best to deal with the issue. As time went on (2 months), I found that I was initiating the texts and my phone calls were going unanswered. To the date of this review (13th August), I've heard nothing further from Matt. As a result, I have had to spend 5 days of my own time stripping and relaying the planks plus a further £500 for materials and a tradesman to correct the issues with the frame. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend Matt and his team for decking.

We employed Matt after recommendations of his work from friends, he transformed our over grown garden into a perfect space for our children and us to enjoy, laying artificial grass and a patio. He was very tidy, polite and knowledgeable. We would'nt hesitate to recommend him to others

We asked Matt to remodel our back garden to create a patio area and a paved path surrounding the lawn. This was a big job and was complicated by the slope of the ground. Matt and the team not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. They were able to suggest modifications in our design ideas which improved the end product, and were also happy to discuss and accomodate any changes we thought of.
The team were all very helpful and a pleasure to have working on our property.

Matt and his team did a great job transforming our garden. The new retaining brick wall and steps were first class and the paving was faultless. This wasn't the easiest of jobs especially at this time of year but the work was carried out efficiently and without any fuss. Already planning more work for Matt.

In August Matt & Dan Plumb completely redesigned the front and back garden for S & A Knight. They built a wall at the front (which has been much admired) extended the drive, laid lawn and a path. At the back M & D removed a hedge of large conifers, garden totally cleared, two patios, and paths laid. Matt & Dan made good design suggestions and completed to a very high standard. We would highly recommend the quality of their workmanship,and professionalism.

I had problems finding a landscape business that would undertake all the work I needed (removal of concrete base, removal of ca 6 inches of soil/gravel, reduce size of raised bed and remake, new path laid, new deck laid, new fence and gate and fresh grass to finish) many “landscapers” seemed to stop at grass cutting and hedge trimming. Meeting Matt was a great as his team were able to undertake the whole job from groundwork (new runs for downpipes from shed and roof under decking) through to finished garden. Excellent communication throughout - as we have small children Matt worked to ensure that that the heavy works and fence replacement were undertaken in such a way that the area was left secure throughout. The standard of work has been high - the decking has been laid in a fairly awkward space and I am very happy with the result. Matt had challenges to overcome throughout and remained professional and committed to a good finish for us. I would use this company again and would recommend them to others.

All the work has been carried out to a high standard and I have no hesitation in recommending them for any similar work requirements.

Matt and Dan completely revamped our back garden and did a fantastic job. The team worked really well together; they were very professional in all that they did, effective throughout, clean and tidy and very personable. We much liked and appreciated their ability to work to a brief, and similarly valued their willingness to refine tricky designs or layouts with us as the work progressed.

Matt's team managed to dig out several tonnes of clay- soil, lay a quality patio and retaining wall, AND redo my fencing despite horrendous weather. I found M&D Plumb Landscaping through The Best of St Neots website and from the first meeting Matt was able to quickly understand exactly what I was trying to achieve with our back garden - an attractive, low maintenance, child-friendly space. Matt talked me through a number of options, from high-spec materials to more cost-effective alternatives and fully explained the pros and cons of each option, giving me all the information I needed to make informed choices. From the day work began, I was impressed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail that Matt and Dan paid to every aspect of the landscaping - these blokes take serious pride in their work and the results speak for themselves. It's now been 2 months since work was completed and I couldn't be happier with the result - we use the garden every day and it is exactly the space that we were hoping for. Thanks guys!

Matt and Dan Plumb carried out all our hard paving in our new home to an excellent standard - no task was too much for them - their attention to detail, cleanliness and finish of the completed job was excellent - apart from the finished area you would not know they had been here. If you need hard paving installed then use Matt and Dan I recommend them.

Mat and Dan have worked for Admiral Homespace for ten years on various projects from patios to very high spec conservatory builds.
