Having just moved to the area, it is always a bit of a gamble sourcing new tradesman to carry out works at the house. After using this site we opted to use 'Safe Place'. They did a great job with all works carried out to the price quoted. They were extremely tidy and took time to explain everything they were doing and why. I would happily recommend them to others.

Needed a small job doing ( Fit Ceiling Fan and replace Strip Light ) , Darren came out when arranged and quoted to fit and supply. Very prompt on day of instalation , clean , tidy and price as agreed. Would recomend , and the wife was happy what more could you want. Paul D.

When your steamer oven in the restaurant goes down you are in serious trouble, even worse if its a Saturday!None of the usual technicians are available. Beginning to panic, but it was DARREN to the rescue! Turned up within the hour, a bit of diagnostics, found the fault, drove to St Neots to get the part, returned, and hey presto! We are back in business! Many thanks Darren, can't ask for better service than that!.We are now a fan of 'Safe Place'!

I have used Safe Place (Darren)on many occasions in both my professional work and on a personal level for the past 5 years. We recently built our own house and Darren did all the wiring for us. An exceptional job as always was done. I recommend Darren to all my landlords as he is reliable, trustworthy and good value for money and a true gentleman to boot! No job too big or too small and you can rely on him to turn up when he says he will.

Darren did a number of electrical jobs for us including installing downlights in the kitchen, changing the consumer unit, installing a bathroom extractor fan and an electric fire. He & his assistant were friendly and did an excellent job. The work was completed faster than he predicted and for a good price. We would definately recommend Safeplace!

I have used Safeplace to inspect work done on our extension by a friend. Darren turned up when he said he would, did the job and issued the certificate very quickly.
After this, I recommended him to a local office where he has done the electrical work as part of a refurbishment, as well as doing the annual PAT testing. They were very pleased with him too.
Safeplace are definitely to be recommended as The Best of St Neots.

We found Darren through this website and I can honestly recommend him. We had a problem with our storage heater which for some unknown reason was not heating up! Initially Darren could not find a problem but did not charge for the inital call out. Eventually upon more investigation and coming back for a futher visit he did find the problem (which turned out to be pretty simple and he even showed my hubby what to do in case it happens again) we now have heat restored! We would thoroughly recommend Darren for his perseverance in finding the problem at a very reasonable price.

I am a builder (Blueberry Property Services) and I always use Darren and Safe Place to carry out any electrical testing and Part P certification. Darren is always polite, he returns emails or phone calls in an efficiant manner, he turns up when he says he will, and I have never had an issue with the service or work he has carried out for me. We used Darren from Safeplace to certify the wiring we had done on our extensionlast year,(our electrician was a family friend that had just about retired but did not hold Part P certification)so Darren worked checked all the work making sure it was all up to current regulations. Last year we had an extension on our house but used an electrician that we have used for many years, but because he was semi retired he did not have Part P certification. This is when we found Darren from Safeplace. He is fully certified for all types of electrical inspection / testing and worked with our electrician making sure the work conformed to current regulations.
