John and Clare have been custom framers in St. Neots for many years, but have recently decided to retire and have handed the baton (or rather frame moulding!) on to Kate at Honeycomb Photography in Church Walk, St. Neots. 

Kate has been under their expert and friendly guidance, building on her own framing experience and working with them so that their legacy of producing exceptional quality bespoke frames continues. 

With a First Class Honour Degree in professional photography, Kate has a keen eye for creative projects with attention to detail. She will work with you to create stunning bespoke frames for your photographs, pictures, memorabilia and sentimental items.

You will then have plenty of time to discuss your artwork and choose your mount and frame so that it sets off your artwork perfectly.

Frame Cleaning and Restoration – if you have an old frame that needs a clean, we will carefully dismantle, clean and put everything back together for you.

Re-framing – we can reframe your existing artwork. Kate has an eye for detail and will carefully go through different options for you so that your artwork is complimented perfectly.

Canvas Stretching – if you have canvas artwork that needs stretching, Kate will be able to measure your artwork to precision and advise you on the best way to have your artwork stretched. Each textile artwork is different and therefore they must each be treated and looked at individually with expert awareness of how the finished product will look.

Canvas Printing – we can print your own photos to high quality art canvas using either standard size or bespoke stretcher bars, therefore if you have a specific size in mind, panoramic image or a series of images you want amalgamated into one image, this can all be done and is part of our professional photographic service.

Mount Cutting – choose from a large selection of mount board colours.

Glass Cutting – broken glass in your frame? No problem, we can cut glass-to-size for you. We will however need to have the frame in order to double check the measurements.

Dry Mounting – Some none valuable artwork is great for framing but it might come with a few creases.  Our ‘Dry Mounting’ service will iron out this problem, no not with and iron but a professional dry mounting machine, where your artwork is handled with extreme care and placed under a large mounting press with or without head activated mounting paper. This technique is ideal for framing maps, posters, paper artwork without oil based inks and photographs.
