Just had my MOT done, very easy to book, and great feedback on the test. Tackwood have been doing my MOTs and servicing for more than 10 years and it has been an easy and low cost experience, easily a 5 star experience. And when I've had questions about my car they have been very helpful in taking a look and being reassuring, not using it as a selling opportunity, in an industry where the dealerships scare me, its great that there is an honest car company around.

I popped in this evening on the off chance that they may be able to replace a headlight. The staff managed to get it sorted there and then. Great service as always, thankyou!
On another occasion my car needed a wheel bearing replaced, due to me needing my car for work, they fit me in within a couple of days and even offered to collect my car. I can't fault the service, always willing to help customers as much as they can.

2024 - Came to the rescue with my parents car, which was unusable. Viewed, discussed, quoted and repaired in less than a day. I've said before, but Tackwoods are the best! Thank you.

Have used Tackwood for our very old, and newer cars for several years. Always have excellent, polite, reliable service, with good explanations of any issues and their resolution. I particularly like that they will not go straight to the most expensive fix and carry out unnecessary work but will equally ensure safety is always first. Thank you team.

My experience was good.
I had noisy brakes. I booked it and tackwood (Robbie) explained the problem and corrected the issue. They could have told me anything and charged more but they just repaired my issue and charged accordingly.

Recently had my MOT at Tackwood and as usual they were great. The pleasant, lighthearted way you are dealt with as a customer is refreshing. You actually deal with people and not AI which to most people is the ability to have confidence in the staff and not take pot luck with a computer . Keep up the good work guys.
