And the winner is...

thebestof St Neots has announced the winner of the St Neots Business of the Year 2019 Awards. Childrens Swim School – Little Aqua received 151 reviews during the campaign, to win the coveted accolade of Business of the Year 2019.  In second place, with 122 reviews, was Riding School – Northbrook Equestrian Centre and in third position with 63 reviews Jennies Cakes & Catering and in third position with 68 reviews.

The Business of the Year Awards is organised by thebestof, a marketing organisation committed to raising the profile of local, independent, recommended businesses serving St Neots and the surrounding area.

During the campaign, local people were asked to show their support for their favourite business by submitting a review of the service they had received. The Awards operate at a national and local level with a UK Business of the Year, Category Business of the Year and Town Business of the Year.

At a national level Buds 2 Bloom Florists, i-d Image Development, Northbrook Equestrian Centre, Alan Linger Tree Services, St  Neots Fire and Fireplace Centre, Vital Sign Design Ltd, Jennies Cakes & Catering, Ashcroft Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Parks Therapy Centre and Little Aqua won the Award in their category, beating off competition from businesses across the country.

Phill Scott comments, “We are incredibly proud of all our local businesses who qualified for the St Neots Business of the Year Awards.  They received some fantastic reviews from local people using their services. On behalf of the businesses I would like to thank every single person who took the time to leave a review. By doing so they publicly acknowledged the contribution that these businesses make to our local economy.” 

“Little Aqua is a very worthy winner. The number and quality of the reviews they received are a real testament to their ongoing commitment to deliver excellent service and a positive customer experience. They qualified 2nd in St Neots and joint 2nd in the Education and Tuition category and pushed hard throughout the competition.

“Those businesses who came in the top 3 of their categories nationally were, Premier Plus Financial, Shakie Jakes, Glycon, K, Manning Paining & Decorating The Binney & Simms Design, St Neots Fencing, Ashcroft Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners & 5 Star Hand Car Wash can also be very proud of their achievements. With 9 category winners our local businesses have certainly placed St Neots on the map for all the right reasons.”
