From my Brother In Law
Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year. Most of you probably know I foolishly entered the London Marathon in 2010, and got in!
To boost my motivation I’m running for macmillan, as it seemed stupid to get in and not run for something worthwhile.

I would ask you to visit the link above, laugh, and then sponsor me to finish this gruelling event (don’t forget gift aid).
I will try to update my progress (currently running like Jocky Wilson, the 80s darts player) as I progress with my training.
Obviously 2012 is my long-term goal. But London is a good start.
If anyone has lost a family member or friend to cancer, maybe you could send me an image of them and I’ll hope to run with them on my back (my lovely wife’s idea). I’ll need all the help I can get.
Obviously you can all come and heckle/cheer me on on the day as I struggle to find the loos at every mile marker. Or if you see me training, pick me up and take me home.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this request and happy new year.
I’m off for a mince pie!

I've lived in St Neots since I was 13, and boy how it's changed. I'm always looking to promote everything great in and around our town.
