Eaton Socon U11 vs Priory Parkside U11

Everything is now coming together and the hard work is paying off.  Eaton Socon 1 v Priory 7

Eaton Socon were denied taking an early lead, with the ball cleared off the line by Matthew Williamson. They got their reward for early pressure getting a goal soon afterwards.
This gave the boys the shake up they needed and Priory started to play their best football of the season so far. The score was levelled through an Alfie Bass goal. Priory's second came from a superb lob by Ollie Curliss-Ackrill that the keeper got his fingers to, but couldn't keep out, Ollie added another soon after. Socon's goalie denied Rylee Scotts attempt pushing it wide, and made another fine save that Fraser Clarke had the chance to score with the rebound but put just wide. Eaton Socon had the chance to pull one back but were denied by the footwork of Alex Norman in goal.
Priory started strong in the second half with Alfie getting his second to bring the score to 4-1. Rylee had another shot saved before getting his reward for his hard work, and turning in a corner from Tom Berrill. Alex once again kept Socon at bay with a diving save. Priory's defence were absolutely solid, not backing out of any tackles and looking in complete control. Both Ollie and Alfie got their hat-tricks to bring the score to 7-1.

This is the best by far the boys have played as a team.

Bring on the touraments.......

Man of the match -Alfie Bass.
