HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has issued a reminder about the date for submitting registered pension scheme returns.
For the tax year ending 5 April 2010, returns must be filed online by 31 January 2011.
Anyone who has not signed up for online filing needs to do so by 14 January 2011 so that the pensions scheme return or event report can be submitted by the deadline.
However, HMRC added that returns should be filed as soon as possible in order that any mistakes can be corrected before 31 January.
