• My grandfather sadly passed away earlier this year. Losing a relative is hard under any circumstances, but when the relative lives abroad there are additional difficulties to deal with. The hospice where my grandfather spent his last few weeks had organised the cremation and a service for us in Mallorca but we still had to arrange to bring his ashes home and to inter them in England. I contacted Andrew Hickson at Kingfisher Independent Funeral Services as I simply did not know where to begin. Andrew offered advice on everything from what paperwork we needed to bring my grandfather’s ashes into the country, to where ashes can be legally scattered and what type of casket is needed to inter them.
