The Horseshoe Inn Restaurant Offord Darcy has been awarded the ultimate 5 Stars from the District Councils Environmental health offices.
This rating scheme known as ‘Scores on The Doors’ has enabled anyone to observe the standards of hygiene and food preparation processes that exist in any food establishment.
This establishment has held the coveted Four Stars for over four years held back only by structural limitations related to the age of the building which have now been addressed. This is one of the 20 oldest public houses in England.
The Horseshoe Inn Restaurant is alone in holding this award of 5 Stars in the category of restaurant of this type in the PE postcodes covered by The Huntingdon District Council. Although occasionally new fast food establishments can achieve this it is rare for established large restaurants.
