Kip McGrath - Education Centre - St Neots
Maths / English / Reading & Writing Tuition for 6 - 16 year olds
IT SEEMS as if hardly any time has passed since we started the term at the Creativexchange building, but here we are already in the middle of Christmas preparations!
Our new centre was officially declared open by none other than the Mayor of St Neots, Councillor Gordon Thorpe, on 18 November. He didn’t cut a ribbon, though – instead we had a big cake, which Liz helped him to cut and which a cheerful gathering of friends, colleagues, and students helped to demolish in five minutes flat. Much nicer! It was very kind of him, and of Councillor Catherine Hutton, to come along, and we also enjoyed a glass of bubbly to mark the occasion.
It’s great to be finally settled into the new premises, which have proved as spacious and convenient as we had hoped.
I would like to say a warm thank you to the students and families who have attended this term. I have enjoyed your company and working with all of you, and you should be very proud of your hard work and the excellent progress you have made.
News: check out our new facebook page, ‘Kip McGrath St Neots’. You can read writing by our students, and challenge your family to solve the maths puzzles, as well as leave questions or messages for Liz.
Kip McGrath also has a new website at www.kipmcgrath.co.uk.
In addition, we are proud to announce that we have been invited to join the website the ‘Best Of’ St Neots’.
Well, Christmas time is here again – we close for the holiday season on Saturday 18th December and open again on Monday 10th January. We wish everybody a great festive season – you’ve all deserved the break... but keep your brains active and don’t forget everything you’ve learned so far!
I've lived in St Neots since I was 13, and boy how it's changed. I'm always looking to promote everything great in and around our town.
