BOXING GYM UPDATE SEPTEMBER:
It’s been a manic few weeks since we took on the unit in Eaton Socon. Three generations of family members rallied round over the bank holiday weekend to help us paint the walls & floors, deep clean the facilities and prepare everything for installation of the equipment.
Special thanks go to Andy Smith of Coverspan, St Ives for donating gallons of floor paint, our neighbours Pete & Joanne of Realfit Conditioning for their ongoing advice and assistance, and Phill Scott (Best of St Neots) for his fantastic efforts in promoting and supporting us.

BOXING CLUB UPDATE 14/8/15
CAN YOU HELP?
Things are moving along nicely! The premises have been inspected and approved by the Eastern Counties Secretary of England Boxing, who wishes us well with the new gym. Recommendations include partitioning of the area set aside for changing, and if any local businesses can supply us with materials for studwalls it would be appreciated.
A fresh coat of paint is also required and again, any help with materials would be welcome. With affiliation to England Boxing, we are a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) and full tax relief is available on donations.
The following local companies have already made pledges of support, many thanks:
All of our backers will have the opportunity to advertise their business at the gym, our website and on club merchandise.
Our own secretary has been busy creating a website and social media pages and these will go live on Monday 24th August. From then, our webpage can be found at www.newsaintsabc.co.uk, Facebook at ‘Newsaintsabc’ and on Twitter @newsaintsabc. In the meantime we can be contacted by email at info@newsaintsabc.co.uk or billsboxing@outlook.com

UPDATE JULY
Founders of the new community Boxing gym Kev & Jordan Bullus have been overwhelmed by the interest and support shown in their project. Financial pledges have already been made by several local businesses and the Father and Son team want to keep everyone posted on developments.
A lease has been agreed in principle on a unit in Eaton Socon, subject to successful application for change of use. The application was submitted to HDC on 14th July and is expected to take up to 8 weeks to complete. Deposits have been paid to suppliers of equipment, with a hold on orders until late August.
Affiliation to the sports’ governing body, England Boxing has also been submitted for consideration/approval.
Some light renovation work is required at the unit (cleaning, paintwork etc) and with this in mind a target start date of mid-September is planned, beginning with an open day for people to visit the gym, try it out and register for classes.

I've lived in St Neots since I was 13, and boy how it's changed. I'm always looking to promote everything great in and around our town.
