Priory Parkside U11 9 v Stukely Meadows 1

An upset at the start with Stukeley scoring in the first few minutes.

Ollie Curliss-Ackrill soon levelled the score. Him and Alfie Bass then combined well, both providing superb crosses for each other to bring the score to 3-1. Jack Morrison came on as sub and scored almost straight away. The score was 5-1 at half time following a tap in by Adam Dawson that followed a save from the goalie.

Priory started just as determined in the second half, and there could have been more goals than there were if the the mud in the goalmouth had not stopped some shots. The sixth came from Rylee Scott, followed by Jack Morrison cracking another shot onto the bar. When Priory were awarded a free kick up stepped Jack Hellewell, the ball sailed into the top corner. Rylee tried to lob the keeper, again it fell and stopped dead in the mud, only for Adam Dawson to be in the right place again and put it in the back of the net. The final goal came from Fraser Clarke to give a convincing score line of 9-1.

Great performance all round, with Man of the Match going to Matthew Williamson for keeping a good position in the centre of defence.
