St Neots Business Showcase - A real success!!
July 2013 St Neots Business Showcase was a sell-out success St Neots Town Centre was a brim with the hustle and bustle of 45 local businesses promoting their products and services on the Market Square last Friday (12 July).
The sun shone all day long for what was a hugely successful event. The public came out in their droves to visit the exhibitor stands and pick up information about local services available as well as special offers, promotions and competitions, which ranged from winning a hamper to a brand new Mini Cooper.
This was the first time we have organised such an event and the benefits were twofold.
Visitors were able to discover the multitude of businesses and services available locally and all participants appreciated the opportunity to be able to attend the event in the hope of widening their client base by attracting new customers and reaching new markets.
Exhibitors even enjoyed having the opportunity to engage B2B. St Neots Town Council and Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce collaborated to be able to put on this special event for the town, which was free to attend for the public and exhibiting businesses.
We already plan to organise the event annually if not twice a year. If anyone is interested in having the opportunity to participate in future events they can contact Katie Williams, Town Centre Manager, on 01480 388912 / katie.williams@stneots-tc.gov.uk
Details about further Business Showcases will be announced in due course.
John Bridge, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce said, “We are delighted to have been involved in showcasing the dynamism and positivity of businesses in St Neots and celebrating their excellent contribution to the local economy. All are to be congratulated on making the Business Showcase such a success.”
Katie Williams Town Centre Manager said:We are delighted with the success of the event and I have had so many positive comments from both exhibitors and the public. St Neots boasts a wide breadth of successful businesses and we are working to drive the local economy and keep people shopping locally to support the growth and prosperity of St Neots as Cambridgeshires largest town.
I've lived in St Neots since I was 13, and boy how it's changed. I'm always looking to promote everything great in and around our town.
