The St Neots Book Treasure Hunt is back in town - Come and join us on Saturday 9th November
The Book Treasure Hunt organised by the Friends of St Neots Library is coming back to the Town Centre on Saturday 09th November.
After the fantastic success of last year, when 25 local shops participated with their “book treasure” displayed in their windows, and more than 30 people taking part in the challenge, the Friends of St Neots Library have decided to repeat the experience.
Dot Morfett, Friends of St Neots Library Chairman says: “This is a great opportunity to have all the community involved in a fun activity and supporting our Library”.
The Hunt will run from the Library on Saturday 9th November, from 10 am to 3 pm, where entry forms will be available for anyone wanting to participate. EVERYONE - individuals, teams and families are invited to play.
A variety of books will be “hidden” amongst the window displays of the participating shops and other retail outlets in and around St Neots High Street. Players can hunt for the books at their leisure, using a map provided to guide them. Everyone who gets all the answers right will be entered in a lucky dip to decide the Prizewinner.
Entry forms cost £2 per sheet, and all proceeds will go to the Friends of St Neots Library, a volunteer group that helps promote and publicise the library, to build awareness of the wide range of library services available to the community and to raise funds for additional services and equipment.
