The White Horse St Neots and The Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning - Friday 30th Sept - Macmillan Cancer Support.
Managers and Staff at the White Horse in Eaton Socon are showing great support to charity Macmillan Cancer support not only by supporting this year’s Worlds Biggest Coffee morning but also by helping mark Macmillan’s centenary year by holding a “Big Birthday Fun day”. On the morning of Friday 30th September people will be encouraged to join the fun and treat themselves to cake and coffee in the name of a great cause.
On Saturday 1st October the fun will continue as The White Horse host a full day of activities for both children and adults including face painting, bouncy castles, tombola, balloon animals, competitions, tug of war, a big birthday buffet, and there will be an auction of promises with a difference.
Managers Olly and Lisa would like to invite as many local people as possible to join them for a great day out and help them in their efforts to raise funds for people affected by cancer.
Fundraising Manager Michelle Pullen said “We really are extremely grateful to all at The White Horse for organising these two great events to raise funds and awareness for Macmillan. I hope to see lots of people joining in and having family day out with a difference. All funds raised help provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support for people affected by cancer”
Every day 822 people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Macmillan’s ambition is to reach every one of these people and their friends and families too.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and campaign for better cancer care.
Macmillan Cancer Support is funded by donations; over 99% of our income is voluntary income.
