The World Cup is now getting closer by the day and we are bombarded with it in the shops, supermarkets, papers, tv, so where ever you go you can not escape it whether you are a football fan or not. The timeline for Fabio Capello is also drawing in as well for him to name that crucial team. Below is a list of all the relevant dates for him and hopefully no more serious injuries.
Sunday May 9 - Final day of the Premier League season.
Wednesday May 12 - Final of the Europa League, which involve Fulham.
Saturday May 15 - Chelsea take on Portsmouth at Wembley in the FA Cup final (kick-off 15.00).
Sunday May 16 - England manager Fabio Capello announces his provisional 30-man squad to travel to a training camp in Irdning, Austria for pre-tournament preparations
Monday May 17 - The players, staff and coaching team meet and fly out to Austria.
Monday May 24 - England face Mexico at Wembley (kick-off 20.00) in their penultimate friendly before the World Cup.
Tuesday May 25 - Squad return to camp in Austria for further training.
Sunday May 30 - England face Japan at the UPC-Arena, Graz, Austria, kick-off 14.15 BST in their final warm-up match. The squad will return to England after the match.
Tuesday June 1 - Capello announces his final 23-man squad for World Cup 2010.
Wednesday June 2 - England fly out to South African base in Rustenburg.
Saturday June 12 - England face USA in their opening World Cup Group C match at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg (kick-off 19.30 BST).
Friday June 18 - England play Algeria at the Green Point Stadium, Cape Town (kick-off 19.30 BST).
Wednesday June 23 - England face Slovenia in their final Group C match at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth (kick-off 15.00 BST).
