Wyboston Lakes (St Neots) Beer Festival
After last year’s inaugural success, Wyboston Lakes is hosting a mid-summer three day beer festival starting on Friday 13th August until Sunday 15th August.
A handpicked selection of local top brewers will be showcasing their real ales and providing the opportunity for the county’s beer enthusiasts to sample the region’s very best golden nectar in pint and half pint measures.
On Saturday 14th August, real ales will be available along with a barbecue and live music from local bands. Depending on the weather, refreshing beers can be enjoyed indoors or ‘al fresco’ overlooking the fountains and the south lake.
The beer festival concludes on Sunday 15th August, with a day specially dedicated to the family. A traditional Sunday roast will be served in the Waterfront Brasserie and a wide selection of children’s games will be on available. To add to the atmosphere, a quiz will be held in the evening.
Alasdair Swan, general manager at Wyboston Lakes said: “Following the success of last year’s beer festival, we decided to incorporate the event into our social calendar as a fixed feature. It is a great opportunity to play a round of golf at the recently improved 18 hole golf course, prior to sampling the local beer varieties and, subject to the weather, we will be having a lakeside barbecue.”

I've lived in St Neots since I was 13, and boy how it's changed. I'm always looking to promote everything great in and around our town.
