Matt and his team laid an area of composite decking for me approximately a year ago (March 2019). The cost for the work and materials was around £5000. Overall, during installation, Matt and his team appeared to know what they were doing and worked hard and efficiently. The work was completed in an acceptable timescale and the end result appeared good. Unfortunately, in March 2020 I noticed that a number of the decking planks were starting to sag and gaps were appearing between those planks that were butted up together. I contacted Matt at the time and explained the situation. I also looked at a number of on-line videos and spoke to a tradesman who fits decking and this indicated that the wooden frame that supports the decking had not been constructed adequately. Matt initially engaged with me via text and gave me the impression that he would visit me to work out how best to deal with the issue. As time went on (2 months), I found that I was initiating the texts and my phone calls were going unanswered. To the date of this review (13th August), I've heard nothing further from Matt. As a result, I have had to spend 5 days of my own time stripping and relaying the planks plus a further £500 for materials and a tradesman to correct the issues with the frame. Based on my experiences, I would not recommend Matt and his team for decking.

We have used Kevin Fisk to do all our heating and plumbing work for nearly two years. He is courteous and reliable, and is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. I am from a building family and therefore know a thing or two about tradesmen and their abilities. I would thoroughly recommend Kevin to anyone wanting a thorough professional job.

I recently used Champion Carpets to lay luxury flooring in my kitchen and washroom. Wayne took time over two days to ensure the floor tiles were laid perfectly without any mess. I would highly recommend Champion Carpets for their expertise and pricing and would not hesitate to use them again to do similar work for my study. May I wish them every success for the future.

Have just had Alan and his team out to remove a tree and what a revelation. We had previously had some overhanging branches removed by someone else and now we know how it should have been done! Friendly, professional and tidy, you’d never know they’d been here. Would not hesitate to recommend this company and would certainly use them again ourselves (except we have no more trees!).

Due to these recent uncertain times I really worried we would struggle to find a mortgage but Carl managed to secure us a great one. Yesterday Dean came and cleared a blocked drain. He told me when he would be able to do this work and followed up on his promise. when the work was done everything was cleared up and back to normal. He was very polite and friendly. He had previously done a similar job for me back in 2012 so he must have a lot of experience by now.
