My wife and I have been using Tackwoods for many years and have always been impressed with the quality of their service and repairs .
I have had a new heater matrix fitted to my Golf and this was carried out by the Tackwoods team at less than a quarter of the cost that VW wanted to charge . I like the fact that Sean and his team always explain what is needed and they don’t ever go looking for work that is not required ( unlike VW main dealers). You actually get to talk to people who know what they are talking about .
My VW has been troublesome since I bought it 4 years ago , but this garage have always managed to fix it .
They are equally as good with my wife’s mini .( which has been almost trouble free ) for routine servicing .

We are so glad that we employed Kim and Steve (upon a recommendation from a previous customer of theirs) to redecorate our lounge, kitchen, hall and landing. They arrive at a pre agreed time, were courteous from the start until the job was complete. Both Kim and Steve's care and professionalism is obvious. They kept us informed at each and every stage as to their plans and involved us when necessary to clarify and agree on decisions. They go above and beyond to ensure that they do a professional job and that we are happy with their work. They have exceeded our expectations in terms of skill, work ethic and courtesy and we are delighted with our newly decorated home. They will be our 'go to' decorators of choice from now on. Yesterday Alan removed a Cypress Tree from my back garden, pruned a fig tree and tided up my leylandi hedge, and as ever all the work was carried out most efficiently with perfect results, without overcharging. I know I can always rely on Alan to do a good job. Thanks again.
