The Animal Zone, at South Staffordshire College's Rodbaston Campus, is home to approx. 1,000 animals from meerkats to monkeys, rabbits to alpacas! The Zone is open weekends and school holidays and has a host of exciting activities each day – these can include Animal Encounters, Meet the Keeper Sessions, Feeding, Tractor Trailer Rides, Pot Painting and Planting Seeds and many more!

Chicken Feeding

The flock of chickens have arrived at the animal zone!  Daily feeding sessions will take place whereby children can help the keeper to feed.

Kune Kune Pigs

Our Kune Kune pigs are always hungry!  Can you help to feed them?

Meerkat and Lemur Observed Feeding Sessions

What do meerkats eat, how often, how big do they grow, where do lemurs come from?  Find out the answers to all your questions at our daily feeding sessions.

Pot Painting and Seed Planting

Decorate your very own pot plant to take home.
