Burghley's Festival of Surprises
Saturday saw over 1,300 people in the grounds of Burghley House for the family carnival which was part of their Festival of Surprises.
There will be a series of events at Burghley House until August 16 (Sunday) forming a two0-week festival providing family entertainment and of course, showcasing its stunning sights to the public.
On Saturday there was lots to do, including a barbecue, games and bouncy castle, and you could take a tour of the gardens.
Other events for the Festival of Surprises include learning sculpture, making jewellery and a circus skill workshop
