Scouting is all about helping young people to enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with other, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Scouting is fair and open to all irrrespective of gender, class, race, sexual status, physical or mental ability and political or religious belief.
There has been a Scout Group based in Norton for at least 60 years. The group presently has sections for boys and girls from 6 to 14 years of age. Meetings are held at Norton Scout and Guide Centre, Kempton Way, Norton, DY8 3AP.
