Last night "An Evening with thebestofStratford" was hosted by the excellent White Swan Hotel in Stratford upon Avon.
The evening included a session on getting the most out of social media, and even Stratford upon Avon's Mayor, Di Walden, as a guest speaker!
There was also a cheque presentation to Dr Diana Owen, Director of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and an interesting talk from Diana.
The White Swan provided a great venue and the refreshments - with an excellent array of canapes amongst other things - showcased what they have to offer. With many of the attendees not having been to The White Swan before, it was an excellent opportunity for them to see what they've been missing and plan their return visits!
There was plenty of time for informal networking, with a number of meetings being set up between members and businesses working together or using each other's services.
