Sometimes you can find hidden gems without even looking. Today such an occurence happened.
We had a busy schedule of meetings all morning, and then in the afternoon we had been invited over to a Bed and Breakfast in Stratford by the owner Bill for a cup of coffee and a chat.
Moss Cottage is on the Evesham road just out of the town centre and is as the name suggests a charming little cottage with three ensuite bedrooms. The rooms are all of a good standard and are very clean and well equipped.
The thing that sets this B and B apart though is owner Bill who has injected his charm and personality into the business. Bill greets guests on arrival with fresh brewed coffee or tea (supplied by Monsoon Estates) and freshly baked cakes, shortbread or scones with homemade jam. Indeed Bill bakes his own bread and has plans to add to his homemade offerings.
Although Moss Cottage is small the welcome, service levels and attention to detail put many large hotels to shame. Bill has a business that he can be proud of.
