Green Electricity didn't exist in the world back in 1996. When it was offered for the first time, Ecotricity became not just Britain’s but the world’s first Green Electricity company – and kick-started the now global Green Electricity movement.

The residents of Richmond Care Village Painswick were lucky enough to enjoy an up close and personal Birds of Prey Experience when the experts from “Walks with Hawks” visited on Monday 4th March.
On Friday 1st February, residents and staff at Richmond Village were joined by the year 6 class from Croft Primary School Painswick to help Ellen Winter, Stroud Community Wildlife Officer from Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, to create “Toad Homes”.
Recent findings from research including a survey of businesses in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) have revealed the total value of economic activity within the AONB to be worth around £2billion and that many businesses significantly benefit from being located within the Cotswolds.
