As a keen (very) amateur golfer I am currently spending my spare time this winter working on various aspects of my game with a view to getting back onto the course in Spring in much better shape than I left it about a month ago!!
I am a high handicapper (~20 to 26) and so there should be some big gains available if I spend my time wisely over the next couple of months. To that end, I am working on various aspects of my swing to seek improvement while also reading a variety of books and literature to drive
(no pun intended!!!) me forwards.
It therefore struck me that a golf blog would be a good idea to see what other people are up to over the winter and maybe share some hints, tips or tricks and see if we can all improve together.
This can be any kind of resource you fancy - written tips, myths, training aids, books, websites, course recommendations, instructor recommendations or anything else that you think may be of help to
someone playing the game and wishing to improve.
I'll get the ball rolling shortly with some of the tips and recommendations that I've picked up over the last month or so and we'll go on from there.
In the meantime, check out a great local resource to help with your golf fitness and general golf skills at Personal Best Studios, near Nailsworth.
