About David Everett

David is the founder of Beyond Telecoms Consulting. He has over 20 years in the telecommunications industry and worked with countless small businesses across the East Anglian region, ensuring they have the most cost efficient and reliable broadband and telecommunications packages for their business needs.
Prior to that he worked in the automotive coatings industry in both customer service and technical capacities. He also spent time in the 1990’s serving as a county councillor.
Outside work he has numerous hobbies and interests. Music has always been a passion, encouraged by his parents who were both music lovers and had an extensive collection of records and CD’s. His father was also a classically trained pianist.
Cycling has been another long-term interest, starting when he was a teenager, both from a sporting and health perspective. At one point he worked in the industry which was a great experience, having first hand contact with some of the top brands and stars of the day.
Modern classic cars are his other all-consuming interest these days. He currently has 2 vehicle projects on the go. He plans to go touring with them around the UK and further afield. One of them has already been down to the Pyrenees to follow the Tour de France and it will be great to go back over to the continent and explore further.
Finally, science and technology has been a big thing for him since his school days which ultimately led to him taking a BSc in Biological Sciences. He realised at that point that research work wasn’t for him but the general interest in science and tech remains.
