Deciding to use WordPress instead of the traditional website building tools. Should of been a simple one. Knowing what I know now. But I decided to go down the wrong road first. My experience was like drinking warm water on a hot day. Yes it will keep you hydrated. But it will not make you feel satisfied. There was always a page or a marketing tool that did not work just right. I contacted Abbie to give me some options and decide on WordPress. Since then. My website has automatically ranked up Good search engines. With each service we offer. Ranking on its own page. The details that can be changed to fit with what you want or like. Are amazing. I can honestly say that Yachting Needs is now getting much more traffic than before and I am very satisfied with it.

Today's Website Surgery with Abbie Thoms was wonderful. It was a small group which meant we each had dedicated time, looking at our individual websites and able to ask the questions we needed support with. Polyspiral's excellent "SEO You Can Do" seminar on Zoom was a really helpful no-nonsense session, full of lots of clear explanations in ordinary language. I left with lots of answers, and a To Do list!

And all too often trying to get more information involves impenetrable jargon and unending sequences of abbreviations. Oh, and lots of dubious advice, often based on out of date information.

We'd known Polyspiral for a long time but not for their hosting services. Having had our site built and managed for a while elsewhere it seemed clear to us that more could be done by way of fine-tuning and improving our ratings. Chatting through the project with Abbie she immediately saw what small improvements could be made- and for a minimal investment. So now we kick ourselves that we hadn't turned to her earlier.
