We are kicking off the new year with 2 hours of fast-paced networking and pizza! If you’re a business owner or professional in the local area, you are more than welcome to attend. And we’d love to see you.
Speed networking is a fun, fast way to meet lots of local businesses. When you arrive, you’ll get a lanyard with numbers that match tables 1 to 5. Start by heading to the table that matches the first number on your lanyard. You’ll be with 2 or 3 other businesses, and everyone takes a minute to introduce themselves and hand out cards or flyers.
After five minutes, I’ll blow the whistle, and it’s time to move to your next table. You’ll meet a new group, and we repeat this for seven rounds. By the end, you’ll have met most people, and maybe some twice.
The beauty of speed networking is you get to speak to everyone. No awkward groups to break into or being stuck talking to the same person for ages. It’s quick, relaxed, and perfect if you’re new to networking or feeling a bit shy. Plus, you can always arrange a follow-up coffee to continue the conversation later.
There will still be pizza and beer/wine/soft drinks and as always, if you let me know any dietary requirements, I shall do my best to accommodate.
