Hourglass is the only charity in the whole of the UK that is dedicated to ending the abuse of older people and is based in Sudbury, which sadly is far more common than you may think. 2.7 million over 65s have been affected by abuse. They run helpline services, including a freephone helpline number, messenger service and chatbot, to offer advice and help to those concerned about an older person or themselves.
