Buy Local Day 4 started early at the Expert Circles Networking Breakfast held at The Five Bells in Great Cornard.

Michele Webber Artist: Michele is a professional artist, art tutor and organiser of the annual Sudbury Summer Art Fair, held at St Peters. Simply Handmade: Colin & Debbi (with Simply The Dog) are owns of Simply Handmade. They run classes, as well as offering clothing alterations and repairs, they can also make bespoke curtains and other items. They run crafting workshop and sell handmade items. Bespoke Blinds, Long Melford: Helen and Monty Atherton have been running their bespoke blinds shop in Long Melford for just over a year. Jessica Muir Gallery: Still in Long Melford, is the lovely Jessica Muir Gallery, packed with original art from local artists, cards and other homecrafted items. Find them on Facebook here

 

The Woolpatch: The Woolpatch is a knitter and sewers paradise. With floor to ceiling yarn and fabric, this has to be one of my favourites. The Tea Room: Our last business of the day is The Tea Room in Long Melford, right next door the Woolpatch. Owned and run by Terese, the Tea Room sells homemade cakes and sandwiches and is a popular pit stop for both tourists and locals. You can visit their Facebook page here
