I'm looking forward to spending the day at Sudbury Farmer's Market tomorrow. It's always such and fun and friendly market to be part of.
This month, I'll be there to meet and chat with people and ask that they pledge to Buy Local.
By supporting our local businesses, more money is kept within in our local economy. This can only be a good thing. I believe the high street is the soul of the local community and something we should support. It's more than just monetary transactions; it's where we meet friends, organise and attend local events, enjoy a hobby, listen to music... the list is endless.
No town is perfect, but without a centre or hub, it would be a sorry place indeed. So, pledge to spend a bit of your cash locally; buy your strawberries from the farm up the road, not the supermarket, visit your local markets and buy your vegetables; look for a unique present or outfit in one of our local shops. To coin an common expression, use them or lose them
Hello! I'm Penny from thebestof Sudbury, shouting about the best local businesses from Hadleigh through the Clare. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me knitting socks or tending to my 6 chickens
