Hourglass is looking to recruit a Fundraising Executive to work in their Sudbury office.
Reporting to the Income Generation Manager, the Fundraising Executive's role will be to raise funds to agreed targets and support the organisations activities, predominantly via trusts and foundations. In addition, exploring new income streams, community fundraising, corporate and individual giving.
Duties of this role include

Marketing and promoting the work of the organisation to a wider audience of donors using well written and impactful propositions.

Undertake in-depth prospect research to identify potential income and funding opportunities

Prepare engaging, compelling and impactful applications to trusts and foundations

Maintain accurate records, including maintaining the fundraising and income generation database and CRM system with target pitches and asks
The ideal candidate will have strong narrative and creative writing skills, an understanding of statistics and impacts, ability to think and plan logically while also being innovative and creative. Excellent communication skills, including diplomacy, negotiation and presentation skills.
Salary- £26,000-29,000 depending on experience.
Duration - 1 year initially, with possible extension
Hours – 35 Hours, Monday to Friday, some meetings may be during evenings and weekends.
