Read about what makes Sue tick

What gets you out of bed?

My 5 year old daughter wakes up just after 5 am each morning so she normally gets me up!  However, I love my job helping people to transform their lives.  It's an incredibly rewarding  and amazing to see people leave after a session with a real buzz.

Best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Just be kind and always treat people as you would like to be treated. You never know what's going on in people's lives so be kind, be respectful. Don't put anything on social media that you wouldn't be prepared to say to someone in person. We may not agree with everyone, but there is never any reason to be rude.

Tell us an unknown fact about yourself

I got a chapter published in a book last year: The Bounce Back Journey of Women's Health.

What's one thing you're proud of?

My daughter.  She amazes me everyday and is so kind and thoughtful despite being so young.

What do you do outside work?

I spend my spare time training for triathlons, open water swimming or running.  I have been a member of TRISudbury since 2017 and have loved being part of this incredibly friendly club. I love swimming at Gosfield Lake and last year managed to swim throughout  winter.  I am also a 'This Girl Can' Ambassador, helping and inspiring other ladies to gain the confidence and self-belief to try new things and push themselves out of their comfort zone.
