How long have you been working as an optician at Wardale Williams?
It was my very first job when I left school, I then studied part time for 3 years to obtain my Level 6 Ophthalmic Dispensing Diploma which I gained in 1992, so I've been a part of the Wardales team for 26 years!
What do you like best about your job?
I love the variety and different challenges that each day brings, no two days are the same. I get to meet some lovely people and it's so rewarding when a patient puts on their new glasses and they can see and look and feel great too.
What piece of advice would you give to someone looking for an optician?
Find a local, reputable independent opticians , one that can offer the best advice on your eye health, who have a great selection of frames, a professional yet friendly team who really care passionately about all your optical needs
Here's your favourite place in Sudbury?
My favourite place has to be the water meadows, lovely for a quiet meander and picnic.
