Just outside Sudbury, on the way to Colchester is Foxes Den. A relatively new venture, the reports back are very positive and their cream teas look as delicious as their breakfasts.

The newly renovated art gallery and museum is located in the birthplace of the famous artist Thomas Gainsborough and features a collection of his works, as well as exhibitions by contemporary artists. Take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens and explore the exhibitions, and finish off with a cup of tea in the café.
The Sudbury Water Meadows is a beautiful location for a springtime walk with your mother. The area is known for its stunning scenery and picturesque views of the River Stour. There are plenty of paths to explore, and you can also stop for a picnic or coffee at one of the many cafés and restaurants in the area.
5. Shop for Gifts at one of Sudbury's independent high street shops

6, Based on one of the old Duck in Boot pods, Just Creations have shelves of unique handmade gifts and items. Pop in and take a look
