This grant, from Babergh District Council’s Community Development Fund, will play a crucial role in offering a comprehensive range of productions across each season, from drama to music and from children’s performances to comedy.
Tony Willson, Chair of Trustees said: “This funding will help us with the planning that we do in order to continue to offer the local community a diverse genre of performances, for which the Quay has such a fine reputation with audiences and acts alike.”
Councillor Laura Smith, cabinet member for Thriving Communities, said: “I’m thrilled to see that this much valued theatre has received the £10,000 grant, as it will ensure that the community will continue to be able to attend the many and varied performances that it offers.
We are delighted to support the centre and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have.”
The team at the Quay is always looking for both volunteers and Trustees and if you have any time available to help us, then please contact us on 01787 374735 or admin@quaysudbury.com.
