After months of planning, promoting and organizing, the Sudbury Business Expo took place on Thursday 28th April at The Suffolk Borders Training Alliance at Thomas Gainsborough School Sixth Form.
With over 100 attendees and 20 exhibitors taking part, the Expo was opened officially by James Cartlidge, who praised small local business and said there was no better time to start up your own company.
The three presentations, one on making the most of LinkedIn, The Daily rituals of successful people and a talk on demystifying the help the New Anglia Growth Hub can give businesses, were well received with some great feedback.
The Speed-Networking session was over subscribed and the 3 hours had positive buzzy atmosphere, just going to prove, Sudbury maybe a small town, but when it comes to business, we can punch above our weight alongside the big boys
My thanks go to Ranson & West Photography, for taking some great shots and to the Sixth Form Prefects of TGS, who helped the event run smoothly
I'm looking forward to the Sudbury Business Expo 2017!
Hello! I'm Penny from thebestof Sudbury, shouting about the best local businesses from Hadleigh through the Clare. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me knitting socks or tending to my 6 chickens
